Antique Beaded Eyeglasses Case

Price: $55.00

$29.00

This is a beautiful hand crafted Vintage Eyeglasses Case.
I'm not sure of the period.  It may be older than vintage... a true antique piece.
It is covered in black glass seed beads with painstaking tiny crewelwork in pink and green.
The interior is black satin. There is a bit of wear/fraying on the inside where you can see the glasses would slide in and out of the case.
It is stamped in gold reading:
Made in Belgium exclusively for Saks 5th Avenue.
This piece is in nearly PERFECT condition!!!
The seams are tight. If there are any beads missing, I can't find them.
An elegant accessory to use or display.

This sweet standing fairy is made of pewter and hand crafted stained glass done in the copper foil technique.  She stands about 6 inches at her head, but as you can see her wings are taller than she is!  She's around 9 inches tall over all.  There are some variations in height due to the placement of wings by hand on each fairy.  Check out the others on the Stained Glass page.

Welcome to Auntie's Attic @ Black Widow Ranch!!

C'mon in.  Have a seat on the porch out of the heat and visit a bit, or take a look around.  Walk around front under the Acacia trees... careful for the cactus; they bite!  Lot's of fun garden decor to check out.  Old junk posing as art, broken tile mosaics, stained glass and wind chimes.  The 2 x 4 furniture is hand made here too.  If you see something you like it's likely for sale.  If you're looking for something in a different shape or color or size we can probably make it for ya.
Maybe you're more in the market for some vintage or retro items?  Antiques?  China, collectibles, crystal? Come on 'round back to the store room then.

Black Widow Ranch:

is located in the gorgeous High Desert of Southern California.  We have 40 acres of cactus, creosote, sagebrush and....magick!!  "The Big House" as our home is referred to locally is one of the oldest houses in the valley, built some time in the late 1800s of native stone and wood.
